Creative Collaboration and Authentic Branding in the Heart of New Hampshire

Nestled in the woods of New Hampshire, The Gilmanton Winery is becoming one of this small town’s up-and-coming destinations. From the moment I walked through their doors months ago, I knew this place was something special. What began as a simple ask to host a networking event quickly turned into a creative collaboration.

That’s where I met Rick and Candi, the owners of the winery. Their energy, hospitality, and bold vision for revitalizing this space inspired me right away. Since that initial visit, we’ve hosted two networking events together, and I’ve had the privilege of watching their plans come to life—from renovations and fresh branding to new wine flavor development and community connection.

Most recently, I had the opportunity to dive into a full-scale wine product photography session for their new and existing blends. The goal? To capture the essence of each wine’s flavor, personality, and story through imagery that reflects the Gilmanton Winery brand— inviting, local, and full of character.

And let me tell you—this shoot was magic.

Candi gave me full creative freedom, and she also came to the table with some incredible ideas of her own. Over the course of nearly five hours, we styled and photographed 16 different wines, each with a distinct aesthetic. Some were rustic and rich, others bright and playful—but every image was grounded in the brand.

What made this project so meaningful was not just the final product (which honestly blew even my own expectations out of the water), but the collaboration, trust, and shared excitement that fueled every step. This session was a reminder of how product photography isn’t just about selling—it’s about storytelling, and it’s about crafting an experience that customers can connect with.

This project is now a core piece of their marketing—used for social media, print materials, website graphics, and beyond. And it’s a shining example of how authentic branding and creative strategy can help a small business stand out.

Whether you’re a local winery, maker, or product-based brand looking to build connection through visual content, intentional brand photography can be the spark that brings your vision to life.

Cheers to creativity, collaboration, and small-town magic. 🍷
