Melissa Neal Photography started as a creative outlet and grew into my full-time career. And while I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve built, getting here has involved a whole lot of learning as I go, taking chances on myself, changing direction, asking for help, making mistakes, and occasionally wondering, “What am I even doing?”

One thing I know for sure: I didn’t build this business alone.

Some of the most valuable parts of my journey have come from other business owners—the conversations, referrals, advice, encouragement, collaborations, and people willing to say, “Have you thought about trying this?” Sometimes another set of eyes can see an opportunity in your business that you simply can’t see when you’re living inside of it every day.

That experience is a huge part of why I created the Signature Brand Membership.

Over the years, I’ve realized my favorite part of working with businesses isn’t simply taking their photos. It’s learning what makes them tick. Brainstorming ideas. Connecting the dots. Helping someone recognize what makes their business worth talking about. And then giving them the tools and confidence to actually show up and share it.

I wanted to create a place where small business owners could have that outside perspective, ongoing creative support, accountability—and each other.

Because running a business can be exciting, rewarding, messy, overwhelming, and sometimes pretty lonely.

None of us have all the answers.

We’re all learning as we go.

And we don’t have to do it alone.
