Laconia New Hampshire Event Photography | First Communion at St. Andre Bessette Parish
Milestone moments deserve to be remembered. I had the honor of providing event photography for a First Communion celebration in Laconia, New Hampshire. The ceremony took place at St. Andre Bessette Parish, where families gathered to celebrate this meaningful step in the children’s faith journey.
This photography coverage included documenting the ceremony itself, followed by individual portraits of each child, family portraits, and a portrait with the Pastor. It was a beautiful and heartfelt event that truly highlighted the importance of this milestone for both the children and their families.
First Communion Photography in Laconia, New Hampshire

Portraits After the Ceremony
After the First Communion ceremony concluded, we transitioned into portrait time. This portion of the event allowed each child to be photographed individually while still dressed in their formal First Communion attire.
We also captured family portraits, which are often some of the most treasured photos from the day. These images allow families to celebrate the milestone together and create lasting memories they can look back on for years.
In addition, each child had the opportunity to take a portrait with the Pastor, creating a special keepsake that reflects both the spiritual and community aspects of the day.
These portraits are especially meaningful because they freeze a moment in time during a very important chapter of a child’s life.
Providing Photos for Families and the Parish
One of the best parts of this project was making sure the photos were easily accessible for everyone involved. All digital images from the First Communion event were made available to the families as well as the parish.
In addition to digital access, families also had the option to order professional prints through my online store. Printed photographs allow these memories to live beyond a screen and become keepsakes displayed in homes for years to come.
